Launched on the World Day Against the Death Penalty 2025, the Death Penalty Report in Pakistan 2025 was jointly published by the National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) and Justice Project Pakistan (JPP).

The report offers the most comprehensive and up-to-date overview of Pakistan’s death row population, featuring new execution and sentencing data, key legislative developments and case studies of wrongful convictions. It concludes with evidence-based recommendations for reform, capturing both national trends and the human stories that define Pakistan’s capital punishment landscape.
